About The Position

Make deliveries to customer job sites while adhering to all safety procedures. Load inventory onto the truck and unload it at customer sites. The role works under general supervision, uses judgment within well-defined policies and procedures, and typically receives regular review of its output by a senior coworker or supervisor. Complex or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor. Overnight travel is typically less than 5% of the time.

Requirements

• Generally 2–5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Plan routes to and from customers’ businesses and adjust for traffic or construction.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
• Deliver merchandise to customers and contact customers if they are not present.
• Load the truck with daily merchandise and unload merchandise for customers.
• Pull orders to match manifests.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving customer issues.
