About The Position

Join Our Team as a Box Truck Delivery Driver! As a Box Truck Delivery Driver with Tague Lumber, you’ll play a key role in delivering quality building materials to our customers - while enjoying local routes, a supportive team, and the ability to be home every evening.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus!)
• Previous Box Truck driving experience is required
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift and handle building materials
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
• Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Be able to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card)
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• Public safety & security
• English language
• DOT driving laws
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of local geographic area
• Reading comprehension
• Multi-limb coordination
• Good reaction time
• Far vision, near vision
• Depth perception
• Read, speak and write English
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (med card)

Nice To Haves

• At least two years’ experience driving a Box Truck

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and efficiently to customer locations
• Provide friendly, professional service at every stop
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on schedule
• Load and unload materials 60-100 lbs and secure loads for transport
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle safety
• Follow all traffic law and safety regulations
