About The Position

The Box Stacker is responsible for properly stacking boxes of product on pallets according to pattern specifications. This role involves reading daily production schedules, operating a computer system to produce pallet tags, and maintaining an accurate inventory of finished products. The Box Stacker will also load pallets for shipping and ensure assigned areas are clean and well-supplied with wooden pallets. Adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies is crucial. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.

Requirements

Ability to read daily production schedule.
Ability to operate a computer system to produce pallet tags.
Ability to use a pallet jack.
Knowledge of safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Stacks boxes of product properly on pallets per pattern specifications.
Reads daily production schedule and prints schedule from computer system.
Properly identifies pallets with a pallet tag before moving pallet to freezer conveyor system or to staging area for shipping.
Keeps an accurate inventory of finished product and verifies reports at end of shift.
Operates a computer system to produce pallet tags.
Loads pallets of product into freezer conveyor system or to staging area for shipping utilizing a pallet jack.
Keeps assigned areas clean, and keeps a proper supply of wooden pallets.
Verifies box information is correct and checks against schedule and specifications.
Maintains knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
Ensures regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.
