About The Position

Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer seeking a dedicated Box Packaging Team Member I to join their family. The Box Pack team member works under close supervision, performing a full range of packing assignments with guidance. This role supports the Packing team by pulling, staging, organizing, and casing the final product, aiming to reduce downtime during line changeovers and ensure peak packing line efficiency.

Requirements

Must be responsible and fast learner
Knowledgeable in mathematics
Must have good organization skills
High School (able to read write)
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience on the field

Nice To Haves

Food Industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures
Perform all activities relating to product management (Counting, Packing, Sealing, and putting the product into boxes or trays)
Always work with good manufacturing practices
Ensure that all procedures and work instructions are followed, to maintain product safety for all customers
Check date codes stamped, and weight information against the daily schedule
Check the appearance of the product and assure that it meets the established parameters and customer expectations
Transport products in racks from one area of production to the next, including but not limited to freezers, chill tanks, and hot pack areas
Assist in the product packaging process, including palletizing
Reassure that pouches are properly sealed during the packaging process
Have a positive attitude when helping peers, leaders, or supervisors
Assist the packing team in the completion of their orders
Clean and maintain assigned area in safe sanitary condition, ensuring product safety
Maintain hygiene, follow GMPs, follow SQF and USDA guidelines
Verify that equipment is in good working condition
Effectively operate plant equipment
