About The Position

This phone-based position provides exceptional customer service, processes ticket sales, and manages orders. The Box Office Reservationist delivers a respectful and knowledgeable experience to every caller. The role includes sitting at a telephone bank for 7–9 hours per shift and safeguarding guests’ personal and financial information. The position requires availability for at least three shifts and rotating Saturdays. Theatre hours of operation are Monday, 9:30 AM–5:00 PM, and Tuesday–Saturday, 9:45 AM–6:00 PM; required hours reflect the theatre’s dynamic schedule. The role starts at $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a minimum of two years of customer service experience.
Touch type with high proficiency and accuracy.
Have strong communication and telephone skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
Work positively and collaboratively with a team.
Apply a creative approach to solving customer challenges.
Be committed to providing genuine hospitality.
Be comfortable with technology and able to multitask effectively.
Be available for at least three shifts.
Be available to work rotating Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

Call center or phone bank experience.
Experience with AudienceView or another online ticketing system.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Process ticket orders, exchanges, and gift card sales as requested by customers.
Provide detailed and accurate information on performances and venue policies.
Sit at the telephone bank for 7–9 hours per shift.
Safeguard guests’ personal and financial information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
