About The Position

Entry support individual contributor that completes routine tasks under close supervision, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides assistance to internal teams in the Manufacturing Assembly area. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment. Operator is responsible for processing PS needles through final cure, weigh counting and boxing needles, and transferring to shipping. Responsible for assembling and/or producing products according to detailed manufacturing processes. Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience, or training.
  • Generally, Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience
  • Computer knowledge is required: Associate must be able to perform all functions of the job by using CIM, and Ethicon computer systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Completes maintenance tasks based on best practices in the industry in order to foster a safe working environment.
  • Installs components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line.
  • Develops competency with routine machinery under direct supervision.
  • Records daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
  • Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
  • Work in team environment behaving in a CREDO based respectful manner.
  • Use test equipment (Starett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, etc) where applicable.
  • Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.)
  • Consistently meet required work performance targets (RE’s), if applicable
  • Support LEAN and Six Sigma Initiatives.
  • Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2) including 6S and Operator Asset Care.
  • Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.g. manual and/or electronic documentation).
  • Consistently meet required Training due date targets.
  • Assist process engineers/facilitators in trouble shooting, process improvement activities.
  • Participate in EHS program.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • Flip needles for curing.
  • Cure needles to specified requirements.
  • Train associates to box and weigh needles.
  • Weigh count and box all needle types.
  • Label, disposition, and release needles.
  • Transfer needles to shipping.
  • Train associates to scan/screen needles.
