About The Position

The Bowling Attendant is responsible for assisting guests, handling transactions, operating lane assignments, distributing bowling shoes, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable customer experience. This role involves interacting with patrons, maintaining equipment, and supporting the overall operations of the bowling alley.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); at least six months to one year experience in a customer service environment.
• Exhibit hospitality minded attitude; friendly, outgoing, guest focused.
• Able to take direction and work together as a team.
• Work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Can explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
• Understands where to get the information needed to complete tasks to standard.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, assist with lane assignments, and provide guidance on bowling equipment and techniques.
• Operate the POS system to process payments for lane rentals, shoes rentals and other purchases.
• Operate and monitor lane assignments to ensure proper functionality and a seamless experience for customers.
• Distribute and collect bowling shoes, sanitize equipment, and ensure all items are in good condition.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including regular sanitization of lanes, seating areas, and restrooms.
• Assist with setting up and managing events, leagues, and parties to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
• Other duties as assigned.
