We are looking for a Bow technician that is a hands-on expert who takes pride in the fine-tuning of a high-performance bow and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this is the role for you. Requirements

  • Comfortably able to pull a 75lb draw weight, ensuring you can effectively test, demonstrate, and service high-performance hunting setups for our customers.
  • Hands-on experience "wrenching" on bows, with a proven ability to install accessories, timing cams, and performing precision tuning.
  • Arrive early (10 minutes is our standard!), bring high energy, and have a genuine desire to help others.
  • Basic math and communication skills are essential for sales and reporting.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma (or GED) and 1–3 months of related experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use hands-on technical skills to set up, tune, and repair bows, ensuring every piece of equipment is precision-ready for the field.
  • Help customers navigate merchandise with confidence—whether explaining gear specs or walking them through the perks of the Scheels Visa Rewards card.
  • Maintain a pristine, professional workspace and keep the shelves stocked, ensuring the archery department is always "game-day" ready.
