About The Position

Richemont, a global leader in the luxury sector, is seeking a Temporary Boutique Operations Supervisor to join its New York Flagship team. Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest watch Manufacture in continuous production for over 260 years, is committed to preserving its heritage while innovating. This role will be responsible for boutique operational support, assisting the Flagship Director to ensure efficiency in administration, inventory, operations, and logistics, while collaborating with the sales team.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 2+ years previous experience in watches or high-value luxury product sales preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and customer priorities.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • SAP exposure is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized, curious, enthusiastic, and solution-driven.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
  • Self-starter with team-player approach.
  • Must be available to work retail hours including nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage boutique performance and operations, partnering with management to support overall boutique operations.
  • Monitor daily financial aspects of boutique sales, ensuring timely and accurate submission of transactions and paperwork to Corporate Offices.
  • Oversee daily administrative opening and closing procedures for the boutique.
  • Manage inventory control processes to prevent stock losses and ensure stock integrity and quality.
  • Ensure all operations functions align with the Maison’s Policy and Procedures and Brand and group compliance policies.
  • Ensure effective and flawless compliance audits and present follow-up action plans.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Richemont local Finance, Audit & Security teams, adhering to all guidelines.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Contribute to growing the Brand’s reputation and desirability through networking and client events.
  • Stay informed about the local business environment and its impact on sales, including competitor activities.
  • Participate in CRM and clienteling initiatives in collaboration with the boutique team.
  • Lead by example in clienteling activities, sharing best practices to recruit new clients and develop relationships.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, ensuring the integrity of the Brand's image.
  • Ensure image and operational standards are maintained according to VAC guidelines (e.g., music, scent, cleanliness).
  • Review and report store maintenance issues, coordinating with contractors/vendors.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain client experience (e.g., cleaning, flowers).
  • Adhere to the values and rituals of presentation established by the Maison.
  • Develop positive team relationships and partner with management to identify training needs.
  • Ensure proper understanding and execution of brand guidelines and procedures among the team.
