About The Position

Altea is Canada’s premier fitness and wellness destination, offering a unique blend of boutique studios, modern recovery, and lifestyle amenities under one membership. We aim to provide a premium member experience that members integrate into their weekly routines. Unlike traditional boutique fitness roles where instructors often piece together a living with inconsistent schedules, Altea offers a structured environment with more classes per week across various modalities, providing an opportunity for instructors to build a sustainable, full-time career. We are currently seeking instructors for Aqua Zumba and Aqua Fit formats.

Requirements

Current certification in one or more formats — Aqua, Zumba, or equivalent
Demonstrated experience teaching group fitness classes in a premium or studio environment
Reliable, punctual, and holds a consistently high standard of preparation and professionalism
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C, maintained annually
Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional classes planned, coached, and executed to the Altea standard for every participant, every time.
Coach participants by offering real-time modifications and encouragement, ensuring each person feels seen and supported.
Build a community by making genuine connections with regular members, making classes a destination.
Show up prepared by completing setup before the first member arrives, having music ready, being on the floor early, and completing pre and post-class sequences to standard.
