About The Position

A High Jewelry Maison with a strong heritage is seeking talented individuals to join their team. The Maison promotes exceptional know-how in an enchanting and creative environment, encouraging the development and transmission of expertise. The ideal candidate for the Boutique Director role will have a bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's in business preferred) and multi-unit or high-volume experience, ideally in luxury retail or hospitality. They must be adept at managing multiple projects, possess strong computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and have excellent communication abilities. The role requires willingness to travel up to 50% in the US and abroad, work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and endure long periods of standing. Fluency in French or Mandarin is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Multi-Unit or High-Volume Experience, ideally in Luxury Retail or Hospitality.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize them effectively.
  • Strong computer skills in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel in the US market and abroad up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to endure long periods of standing.
  • Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Project and produce sales as defined in the store action plan, focusing on strategic and financial objectives.
  • Spearhead management and strategic development, including High Jewelry.
  • Enhance quality and maintain the integrity of the Van Cleef & Arpels image in the store's market.
  • Identify success profiles and talent planning to define career paths and promote advancement, while monitoring and supervising Boutique team members.
  • Generate new clients and develop innovative business ideas.
  • Represent Van Cleef & Arpels at meetings, events, charity dinners, and other work-related functions in both the U.S. and abroad.
  • Manage optimal levels of inventories and model stock in coordination with the Supply Chain Department.
  • Initiate activities for new product launches, events, and activities to enhance market visibility and increase net sales.
  • Assist in developing store personnel's performance goals and update management through reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to support sales growth.
  • Attend international functions such as Codir Des Codir, Maison Committee, Retail Conferences, SIHH, and High Jewelry trips.
