About The Position

The Process Specialist is responsible for coordinating production activities in bottling plants to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role ensures quality standards, monitors process deviations, and facilitates corrective actions to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Familiarity with production management software and tools.
  • Understanding of machinery and equipment used in the production process.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and ability to ensure products meet these standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle tight schedules.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in production demands and conditions.
  • Understanding health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to write routine reports and effectively communicate with employees and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Validate compliance with product quality standards.
  • Provide feedback to staff (administrative/unionized) regarding process deviations.
  • Request technical/mechanical intervention in cases of recurring deviations.
  • Stop processes with unacceptable deviation levels, ineffective technical assistance, or inefficient operations.
  • Identify excessive resource usage in operations/processes.
  • Request corrective actions, follow up, and validate their impact.
  • Audit established processes and report non-compliance.
  • Guide employees on efficient work practices, correcting deviations when possible.
  • Provide reminders of control points to employees according to their assigned areas.
  • Provide positive feedback to operators complying with controls and report non-compliance.
  • Perform random inspections on 100% of packaged products ready for sale.
  • Notify the Receiving Room about changes in the batch, market, line, or product.
  • Notify the Rectification Plant when a product will no longer be packaged or when a line will be stopped for an indefinite period.
  • Meet daily production and market demand requirements.
