Bottling Forklift Operator II, Swing Shift

About The Position

Under general supervision, perform material staging, glass loading, finished product movements, truck loading / unloading, production dunnage disposition and other duties as assigned by supervisor. This is a swing shift position, working 3pm - 1:30am, and pays an additional $2/hour differential.

Requirements

• Must be highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy of inventory, transactions, entries, etc.
• Demonstrate strong math skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Advanced English language skills including ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Forklift certification is a requirement for this position.
• Clamp experience, mandatory.

• Valid Forklift Certification with 1+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Performs finish product movements to include scanning loads for Warehouse tracking purposes
• Pulls, verifies and stages materials for bottling lines.
• Perform 5 high stacking operations for finished product.
• Mandatory Proficiency in the operation of clamp attachment
• Ability to load/unload trucks
• Participates in annual/bi-annual inventory
• Completes all other work or tasks as assigned by manager
• Performs daily forklift checks
• Posts all necessary inventory transactions using a handheld device/barcoding; this includes movements, picks, shipments, etc.
