About The Position

CGI is seeking a skilled and motivated Boomi Integration Developer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, estimate, present, and deliver high-quality integration solutions for CGI’s clients. You will be responsible for writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code while ensuring scalable and efficient system integrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and translate requirements into impactful technology solutions. You will play a key role in driving value through integration strategies and ensuring successful delivery across projects. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A deep understanding of integration technologies, including Boomi, is essential, along with the ability to provide thought leadership and guidance in this domain. This position can be remote (US only); however, preferred candidates are located near Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, Knoxville, TN, Nashville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, Mobile, AL, Atlanta, GA or Lafayette, LA and are open to a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

  • SQL programming and database concepts.
  • Creating and accessing REST and SOAP API's
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for data transformations and custom functions in Boomi.
  • Hands on experience with various integration patterns, such as ETL, real time integrations, batch processing, and event driven architectures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of designing, developing, deploying and maintaining the integration processed between applications using the Dell Boomi platform.
  • Design, develop and manage the existing integrations.
  • Design, develop and manage conversions from legacy integration tools
  • Perform unit testing and maintain development artifacts
  • Communicate status, risks, issues and/or concerns to leadership in a timely manner
  • Adhere to established best practices for development/design lifecycle
