Requirements

Possess valid Class 3Q license.
Boom experience required.
Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience.
Dependable and great work ethic.
Strong Customer Service.
A safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect trucks daily and verify that they are loaded and secured properly when leaving the facility in accordance with the Company and Transport Canada standards.
Basic understanding and knowledge of operation of piggy-back trucks, box trucks, and fork trucks.
Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials.
Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Follow all safety protocols and Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
Use proper lifting techniques.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing.
Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation.
Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day.
Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces. Some functions may be performed as a team.
