About The Position

This is a part-time temporary position within the Finance & Administrative Services department. The role involves receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise, performing operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at the end of semesters, and participating in inventory counts. The associate will assist receiving specialists with shipments and the Online Order Specialist with processing online orders. This is an entry-level support role requiring routine tasks under close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Textbook Receiver Specialist in accepting, checking in, and breaking down shipments within 24 hours.
  • Assist Online Order Specialist with picking, processing, and completing online orders using JCCC Software and Applications within 24 hours.
  • Participate in cyclical and fiscal physical inventories.
  • Answer phones when a specialist is unavailable, collecting caller information and messages for prompt call back.
  • Tag textbooks and merchandise and prepare them for stocking on the sales floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
