About The Position

Half Price Books, America's largest family-owned new and used book retailer, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team as Booksellers. This role involves working in a fun, fast-paced retail environment where employees engage in a variety of tasks daily. Booksellers provide quality customer service, share their knowledge of books, movies, and music with customers and colleagues, operate the cash register, shelve new merchandise, and purchase books from the public. The company emphasizes preserving, recycling, and passing along information and entertainment, buying and selling a wide range of media including books, records, CDs, collectibles, magazines, videos, DVDs, and games. Half Price Books is committed to keeping books out of landfills by donating and recycling unsold items. The company promotes from within, with most employees starting in the Bookseller position.

Responsibilities

• Delivering quality customer service
