We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of our collision repair facility in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in Microsoft Business Central and will be capable of maintaining accurate financial records. Requirements

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business or service-based environment.
  • Experience of working in Microsoft Business Central.
  • Systems-savvy with strong ability to work with software tools, extract and link data, generate reports, debug issues and identify insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an auto body or automotive setting is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage financial records using Microsoft Business Central.
  • Record daily transactions including sales, vendor invoices, and expenses.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice tracking and collections.
  • Review payroll entries and ensure compliance with government remittances (e.g., HST, WSIB, source deductions).
  • Support year-end closing and liaise with HO accounting team.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting including variance analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute management information (MI) reports to support operations
  • Support insurance paperwork and maintain organized digital and paper filing systems.
  • Other duties as assigned
