About The Position

Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling of West Berlin, NJ is looking to hire a full-time OR part-time Bookkeeper to join our HVAC & Plumbing office team. The starting pay for this office position ranges from $20-24/hr , depending on accounting skills and experience. Requirements

Minimum 2+ years relevant Bookkeeping experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting - required
Quickbooks experience
Basic bookkeeping skills and an understanding of accounting principles
Data entry and basic math skills
Desire & ability to grow professionally
Competence in Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented
Dedicated to accuracy and able to accomplish data entry tasks with minimal errors
Able to function efficiently under deadlines
Discreet with confidential information
Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively

Nice To Haves

Service Titan CRM Experience
Experience in the HVAC or Plumbing industry

Responsibilities

Handle all bookkeeping related tasks.
Maintain and develop Inventory Control tracking and goods and receipts procedures.
Process accounts receivable/accounts payable.
Post cash receipts.
Perform reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy of entered information and resulting reports.
