About The Position
Crossroads Pet Resort needs a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help keep our paws—and finances—in order! About Us: We’re an established pet resort offering daycare, boarding, grooming, and training with nearly 30 years of experience. We take pride in giving pets a safe, fun place to stay and helping our team (both furry and human) grow.
Requirements
- Has bookkeeping or accounting experience (QuickBooks preferred)
- Understands small business finance and accuracy is your superpower
- Can work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly
Nice To Haves
- loves dogs, coffee, and organized spreadsheets!
Responsibilities
- Record daily business transactions in QuickBooks
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records
- Process payroll and vendor payments
- Generate and review financial reports (P&L, balance sheet)
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking with the general manager/owner
- Work closely with our accountant at year-end
