About The Position

RRBB Accountants + Advisors is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support a diverse client base by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely, reliable reporting. This role combines technical bookkeeping expertise with strong organizational skills and client communication. RRBB is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals, with offices in Somerset, NJ; Union, NJ; Wall, NJ; Clark, NJ; and NYC, NY. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities
• Detail-oriented with a solution-based mindset
• Eager to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work reliably in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Multilingual skills a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Italian preferred based on client demographics)

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
• Run and analyze QuickBooks reports
• Process payroll and assist with other accounting tasks as needed
• Prepare journal entries and sales tax worksheets
• File state tax returns upon approval from staff and/or management
• Follow up on completed engagements submitted to managers for review
• Manage client accounts in a timely and effective manner
• Assist with administrative functions as needed
