About The Position
Phoenix Financial Group is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Tax Prep Specialist to support client bookkeeping, clean up, and tax preparation work. This role requires someone who is accountable. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Potential for upward advancement for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with bookkeeping
- Experience with tax software
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience is preferable but we will train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client books
- Prepare financial statements (P &L, Balance sheet)
- Perform bookkeeping
- Prepare individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (1120S, 1065, Schedule C)
- Communicate directly with clients
