About The Position

Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC is seeking an accountant or experienced bookkeeper to join its growing hospitality management team. The role works closely with the controller and accounting team to support managed locations. Payroll management for multiple locations may be included depending on the candidate’s existing experience. Infrequent travel to hotel sites may be required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Comfort with technology.
• Willingness to work as a team player and assist with general office tasks or errands as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to five years of related experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Payroll experience; ADP experience is specifically a plus.
• Sales tax experience in North Carolina and South Carolina.
• Hospitality accounting experience.
• College degree or coursework in accounting.
• QuickBooks Online Certification.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and check requests.
• Research invoices and resolve vendor disputes.
• Verify expenses meet contract and budget criteria.
• Assist with accounts receivable management.
• Handle intercompany billing and transfers.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with loan reporting.
• Assist with month-end adjusting entries.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities or issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Manage payroll for multiple locations, depending on existing experience.
