Requirements

• Exceptional guest service skills required
• Minimum of 6 months prior experience working with the public in a cash-handling environment is required
• Proven ability to handle cash accurately is required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/III gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Sports Book Writing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner
• Handles complaints and difficult situations in a calm and patient manner
• Responsible for sharing up to date information on relevant sporting events with guests
• Communicate and promote our menu of sports, race & keno betting options to customers
• Accepts, verifies and writes sports, race & keno tickets for customers
• Knowledge of all sporting events and teams that can be wagered in the Sportsbook
• Maintains accurate ticket and cash transactions
• Follows all department and casino policies, procedures, and regulations as required
• Participates in special events, promotions and tournaments as requested
• Assists with other departments when needed
• Help to create a fun and consistent working environment for the team
• Has the drive and enthusiasm for own development
• Ensures high standards, shows initiative, proactivity and professionalism
• Ability to follow procedures correctly
• Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
