Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Experience in television production
Strong writing, editorial judgment, communication, and research skills
A sharp understanding of politics, breaking news, current events, and the cultural news cycle
Social-media fluency and the ability to spot emerging news and booking opportunities

Nice To Haves

Experience in a live control room a plus
Familiarity of I-News, Viz, and Dalet

Responsibilities

Pitch and book high-profile, compelling guests
Conduct pre-interviews and prepare research packets across a wide range of topics
Build and maintain strong relationships with various contacts
Collaborate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Bring creative, outside-the-box story ideas that make stories relevant and meaningful to a national audience
