About The Position

FOX Business Network is seeking a confident, highly motivated, proactive Booker for Big Money in the Morning. The Booker secures interviews with high-profile politicians, policymakers, and other newsworthy guests for a daily live show. The role requires performing effectively under deadline pressure, developing and maintaining relationships with potential guests and co-workers, and helping the team obtain exclusive interviews. The shift is to be determined, and flexibility is required.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience.
Strong knowledge of business news, politics, and current events.
Familiarity with popular influencers, commentators, and opinion makers.
Ability to establish and build positive relationships with guests and high-profile politicians.
Ability to maintain relationships when bookings need to be canceled or rescheduled.
Understanding that news coverage can require work outside regular hours.
An extensive rolodex with contacts in business news and politics.
Exceptional organization and communication skills.
Experience tracking down hard-to-find people using social media, LexisNexus, Accurint, or similar tools.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
