Processes donated books to determine if they should be sold in the store or online. This involves scanning the ISBN barcode using the Neatoscan service to decide if the book is accepted for online sale through E-books or if it should be sold in the retail store. Items that cannot be sold either online or in the retail store are discarded if damaged. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized workstation, merchandising books on the sales floor by category, rotating and pulling older books from the sales floor, and reporting any security or theft issues to management. The position also involves performing other duties as assigned by store management.
