This position involves preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic bone density exams, operating and monitoring equipment, evaluating images for accuracy and completeness, and assessing the need for additional scans. The role also includes responding to patients' physical and psychological needs, explaining procedures clearly, performing daily and weekly quality control on bone densitometers, and managing associated administrative tasks. The position requires close collaboration with administrative leadership to optimize scheduling, enhance the patient experience, and implement new processes. Maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and performing all duties ethically and professionally are also key aspects of this role.
