The Bonding Tech sets up and operates manufacturing equipment used in material fabrication and target bonding. The role includes monitoring customer backing-plate transfers through a computer program, cross-training in C-Scan of targets and target assemblies, finishing and vacuum-sealing targets in a clean room, and creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and hours as business needs require. Candidates must meet export-compliance eligibility requirements to access U.S. controlled technology under ITAR and EAR. Eligibility may be based on qualifying citizenship or immigration status, an applicable letter of assurance, or approval for an export license. Any offer requiring an export license is conditional on Materion’s determination that a license can be obtained within a timeframe consistent with its business needs.
