About The Position

Extensive in-house training throughout the Capital Markets Division (CMD). This program can range from 6 months to 1 year depending on the individual's experience and learning aptitude. Rotations in different areas of the division may run from 1 day to 6 months or longer. Training schedules and progress discussions will be held throughout the training process.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Six months Customer Service or similar experience
Completion of the series 7 and 63 prior to account assignments.
Strong interpersonal skills
Functional computer skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, or Finance
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong desire to be a commissioned sales representative.

Responsibilities

Obtain extensive knowledge about the capital markets and fixed income markets.
Gain a full understanding of a community bank's balance sheet and the asset liability process.
Learn the CMD policies, procedures, and systems.
Understand the products and services offered through the CMD.
Develop skills as a commissioned sales representative.
