About The Position

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. Requirements

  • TS/SCI Cleared Bomb Tech SME
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma and 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate of Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal or FBI Hazardous Devices School.
  • Bomb Technician experience in a DoD Special Missions Unit, DoD Crisis Response Force (CRF), or Federal WMD/Render Safe Program.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and assess Federal and State/Local bomb techs in counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) operations.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Bomb Tech equipment used for counter-WMD operations.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in active and passive diagnostics to include radiography.
  • Conduct basic confined space and high angle rope operations.
  • Liaison with Other Government Agencies.
  • Provide experienced based guidance and oversight of resources.
  • Possess knowledge of critical thinking and its elements, standards, and traits.
  • Travel in support of sustainment training.
