About The Position

Perform various mechanical tasks in an industrial setting, including valve replacements, flanged piping assembly, hydro testing and rigging.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
  • At least 2.5 years of experience bolting up pipe
  • Willing and able to work 50 or more hours each week
  • Willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job
  • Able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
  • Able to pass a drug/alcohol test
  • Must be a safety role model
  • Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program.

  • Promote an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all accompany policies.
  • Attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education.
  • Attend safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management.
  • Attend various training classes as may be assigned by management.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Take needed safety precautions in performing the work.
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures to make safety checks and conduct safety meetings.
  • Exchange routine and technical information with coworkers, supervisors, or other personnel.
  • Use hand signals.
  • Evaluate work conditions and quality, and make decisions regarding course of actions.
  • Communicate with others and assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
