We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Boilermaker within our Pasadena Plant located in Pasadena, TX.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Boilermaker activities in an industrial environment
  • NCCER Certification prior to employment
  • Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English
  • Have a valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Good working knowledge of SAP.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs.
  • Walking, bending, stooping is required.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority.
  • Must have the ability to distinguish and understand the different types of valves and actuators
  • Working knowledge of heat exchangers and how to disassemble, pressure test and reassemble various types of heat exchangers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
  • Attach rigging, assist crane operator, welders
  • Detect problems with machines and equipment
  • Must be able to rig and move heavy steel
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces, work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work from platforms
  • Must have good manual dexterity and experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
