Interfacing with and monitoring construction professionals and field engineering. Ensures project requirements and expectations are met with regards to quality and reporting on professional’s performance. Ensures adherence by Contractor safety, quality, schedule and performance expectations as defined by the Site Quality Plan, Site Specific Safety Plan, and Contract Documents. Provides technical data and information, as required, to Contractor supervision or Construction Engineers. Ensures compliance to all standards, procedures and contractual commitments within the bounds of all applicable policies. Has ability and expertise to stand in for the construction manager or quality manager during absence from site if requested. Has ability to comprehend overall project schedule with regards to requirements of other program interface requirements. May have responsibility for safety of Black & Veatch site-based team. Has ability and responsibility to mentor and train other discipline superintendents and Field Engineers. Is capable of recommending training and development needs for the trainees. Could be designated as Lead Discipline Superintendent responsible for duties as assigned. This is a field assignment and requires travel.
