We offer fully integrated shop services including state-of-the-art technologies, engineering, design, manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance and repair. We are qualified, experienced, and positioned to be the single source provider for clients' custom shell and tube heat transfer equipment, whether it’s a full unit turnaround, or shop repair. Assembles tube sheets, tubes, and heat exchanger shells, producing heat exchangers or takes used heat exchangers apart for re-tubing and refurbishing. The job includes bolting flanges and closures on shell and tube heat exchangers, grinding metal, sanding metal, disassembly, assembly, using impact wrenches, operating lifting equipment, cutting metal, checking metal integrity, and hydrostatic leak checking. Sometimes the job will include performing hot work on metal, hydroblasting, and abrasive blasting. Working conditions are often hot, noisy, dusty, dirty, and cold. The job often requires standing for long periods of time, the ability to bend, push/pull, twist, squat, crawl, climb, and to avoid pinch hazards and normal shop hazards.
