Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • 3rd class Ohio State Stationary License
  • Boiler firing & repair, mechanical and computer knowledge
  • 3-4 years experience in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Operates, monitors, and repairs three gas/oil fired boilers and related equipment.
  • Operates and monitors three hospital computer systems (Pevco pneumatic tube system, Honeywell Building Automation System, and Metasys building automation system).
  • Uses the following programs: Maximo work order program, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Answers the phones and records the proper information for Engineering and Maintenance and dispatches E & M technicians.
  • Ensures the physical appearance of assigned equipment and plant is maintained.
  • Performs assigned preventative maintenance, repairs, and tasks assigned with proper documentation.
  • Prepares boilers and other vessels for annual inspections.
  • Subject to work on other duties and do other jobs that are requested and deemed necessary by the supervisor.
