About The Position

The Boiler Operator Apprentice will report to the department supervisor regarding all operating problems and equipment malfunctions. This role is responsible for maintaining the safe and reliable operation of all Boiler House equipment to provide steam service to the plant. The apprentice will regularly inspect equipment, possess knowledge of standby equipment and systems layout, and understand start-up/shut-down procedures. Additionally, the role involves maintaining efficient operation of Boilers and ensuring good housekeeping. Communication with the Machine Room regarding any operational issues is also a key part of the position.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
