About The Position

The Mechanic-Boiler at PIM BRANDS LLC is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This full-time role requires a skilled professional who can troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, conduct regular inspections, and implement preventative maintenance measures to support the company’s operational needs.

Requirements

Vocational training or on-the-job training in machine operations and metal fabrication is necessary.
Must be able to read and follow drawings, blueprints and written specifications.
Blue seal refrigeration license required; blue seal boiler or higher preferred.
Must have a minimum of 3-year experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in an industrial environment.
Competent in the following areas: Machinery repair and installation, Pumps, mixers and mechanical equipment, General Electric work, Plumbing, Pipefitting and welding, General maintenance, such as lubrication, painting and fabrication of equipment.
Ability to read, speak, and write English is required.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Math and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boiler systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Conduct regular inspections of boiler equipment and related systems to identify and address potential issues.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless operation of all equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new boiler equipment as needed.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior mechanics and other team members.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in boiler technology to enhance operational efficiency.
