About The Position

As a Body Worker, you will provide professional body treatments designed to promote relaxation, wellbeing, and overall guest satisfaction. Through personalized care and attention to detail, you will create a tranquil and luxurious spa experience while ensuring each treatment is delivered with the highest standards of professionalism and guest service.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of body treatments and wellness practices
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a calm, professional, and guest-focused environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain availability and dedication to The Fairmont Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, being available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Provide necessary information to compile complete guest records.
  • Perform 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minute massages and body treatments while accommodating guest’s needs and creating individualized experiences
  • Drive and dedication towards the common goal of Forbes 5 star rating
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times; ensure all equipment is in safe working order
  • Consult with guests to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments
  • Provide a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests throughout their spa journey
  • Promote spa services and retail products when appropriate to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain accurate guest treatment records and notes
  • Follow all spa policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Work collaboratively with spa colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest service
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
