About The Position

Repair damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Valid driver’s license and clean traffic abstract.
• ASE certifications.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Associates degree or technical school certification or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturers and dealership standards.
• Check body parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
• Must advise management of any deviations from the estimate.
• Must maintain tools and equipment in proper state of repair and advise management of any needed repairs.
• Must wear all safety and health personal protective equipment as mandated and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-know, etc.
