About The Position

We're looking for a talented and experienced Body Shop Technician who knows their way around a body/collision repair shop and is willing to work hard. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional work and has previous experience with performing general autobody repairs. This Body Shop Technician will need to be able to work independently and efficiently, which will require having their own set of tools. Listed pay is per flagged hour - depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be dependable and have your own tools.
• Must be familiar with I-Car processes and be willing to repair vehicles accordingly
• Must be highly motivated with the desire to properly repair vehicles and attention to detail is a must.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders
• Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy
• Weld metals, repair metal and plastic components
• Remove damaged fenders and panels
• Straighten frames
• Grind, sand and file repaired surfaces
• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
• Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
