About The Position
Miles Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the service and parts departments to deliver excellent service in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and materials.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, welding, and refinishing.
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status.
- Use tools and equipment properly to achieve precise body work and finishes.
