About The Position

The Body Shop Technician role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, understands OEM repair standards, and wants to work in a professional, well-equipped dealership environment. You’ll be responsible for repairing vehicle bodies to pre-accident condition while maintaining Ford quality and safety standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, collaboration, and delivering excellent results for customers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Body Shop/Collision Repair Tech (dealership experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of frame repair, structural repair, and body panel replacement.
  • Familiarity with OEM repair procedures; Ford experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow repair estimates and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Nice To Haves

  • I-CAR certification and/or ASE certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repairs including body panel repair/replacement, frame work, and structural repairs
  • Diagnose damage and follow repair plans and estimates accurately
  • Repair, align, and replace damaged panels and components
  • Prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding, filling, and masking as needed
  • Use dealership tools, equipment, and repair information systems properly
  • Ensure all repairs meet Ford OEM specifications and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate effectively with estimators, advisors, and team members
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
