About The Position
Fitzgerald Auto Mall is looking to hire a Helper/Prepper for their Body Shop Paint Department. The automotive shop business is growing, and they are looking for Associates to help their Painters service clients. This position offers a FULL CERTIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM.
Requirements
- Previous experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities
- Prepping vehicles for paint
- Taping and sanding vehicles
- Assist with moving vehicles and parts to ensure study flow of work.
- Clean the shop area, including floors and debris.
- Use light machinery
- Assist Painters with retrieving and prepping parts orders.
- Alert management to any needed maintenance required for the service facility.
- Keep and update all training and certifications.
- Understand and follow all state and federal regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
