Lou Fusz Mazda of Evansville is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Body Shop Painter to join our collision repair team. Requirements
- Previous automotive body shop painting experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet production goals
Nice To Haves
- I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation
- Mix and match paint colors accurately to manufacturer specifications
- Apply paint, clear coat, and finishes using professional spray equipment
- Inspect completed work for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area
- Work closely with body technicians and estimators to ensure timely repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Help maintain the high standards our customers expect from the Lou Fusz name
