Body Shop Painter Helper

Requirements
- Comfortable driving automatic and manual vehicles; physically able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift as needed
- Flexible schedule to support shop and production needs
- Able to work independently or as part of a high-performing team
- Ability to follow detailed painting and repair instructions with consistency and accuracy
- Body shop painting experience (competitive pay based on skill and performance)
- Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by removing accessories, masking components, applying body filler, buffing surfaces, and properly prepping panels for flawless paint adhesion
- Mix, match, and apply paint using professional spray equipment and techniques to deliver factory-quality finishes
- Inspect and perfectly finished vehicles, correcting runs, sags, or imperfections through polishing, waxing, and final detailing
- Estimate labor and materials for paint projects and accurately track materials used for inventory and cost control
- Maintain equipment and a safe work environment, ensuring full compliance with shop safety standards and proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
