About The Position
Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop/Frame Technician to join our team at our Glen Ellyn, Illinois location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and frame straightening, along with a passion for providing top-notch service to our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop/Frame Technician.
- Extensive knowledge of body repair techniques and frame straightening.
- Experience using various tools and equipment for auto body repair.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- ASE and/or I-CAR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent and scratch removal and panel replacement.
- Straighten frames and perform structural repairs on damaged vehicles.
- Use various tools and equipment to complete repairs and ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition.
- Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to ensure repair timelines and expectations are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards for quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
