About The Position
The Body Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing the accurate repair of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role involves direct customer communication, collaboration with insurance adjusters, and providing technical support. The Foreman also manages shop workflow, distributes repair orders, and assists technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
Requirements
- State Appraisers License
- 3+ years of experience in a Collision shop
- 3+ years in a leadership role or service writer role
- Customer service and leadership qualities
- Driver’s License required
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications

Responsibilities
- Provide service to customers by overseeing the technicians accurately repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, and equipment using special tools and equipment according to Technical Manual procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates as needed
- Work with Insurance adjusters and/or customers to obtain approvals for repairs
- Provide timely and accurate technical support/information to service office & customers
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties
- Communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers, if requested
- Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories
- Test drive repaired vehicles
- Assist technicians with troubleshooting, malfunctions on equipment, and repairs
- Distribute repair orders fairly and evenly, matching skillset of technicians
- Manage shop workflow
- Review and adjust repair estimates
- Assist with other projects as needed
