About The Position
The Voss Auto Collision is hiring a full-time Body Shop Estimator. The Voss Auto Collision Centre is one of the largest collision centers in the Miami Valley.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to compute ratios, percentages, and rates.
- Ability to read and understand directions, data, and SOPs that are required by the insurance companies and the Voss Collision Centre.
Responsibilities
- Keeping the customer informed of the progress and any changes that arise. Will use your excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
- Reviewing repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
- Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Writing competitive estimates for insurance companies within each insurance company's time frame.
- Getting all paperwork processed timely and accurate.
- Preparing final invoice and any supplements prior to the customer arriving to pick up the vehicle.
- Final inspection of the vehicle after all work is performed.
