Who we are looking for: The Estimator, Body Shop is responsible for working with public customers and insurance adjusters to ensure accurate and detailed repair estimates. The Estimator, Body Shop has an eye for details when it comes to vehicle damage and provides industry best customer service. They have an in-depth knowledge of auto insurance policies and programs and are able to work effectively with insurance providers to ensure a quality customer experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must have 2 years’ experience in body shop repair or repair estimator
  • Experience working with insurance companies
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 25 lbs. for various needs, including maintaining traditional office equipment such as printers, fax machines, copiers, and computers.
  • No immigration or work visa sponsorship will be provided for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Utilize estimating software to write detailed and accurate repair estimates that include parts and labor.
  • Responsible for customer communication including greeting, obtaining sign off for repairs, periodic updates and status reports, and final repair review.
  • Follow the vehicle through the repair process and provide real-time customer updates.
  • Delivered repaired vehicles back to the customer and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular coordination with adjusters, technicians and customers.
  • Properly hand off vehicles to the disassembly team to start repairs after repair sign off has been received.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
